Monitored Alarm Systems

There are two types of monitored systems, one is Key holder response and the other is Police response. In both instances monitored systems are connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and in the event of a confirmed alarm activation your external siren will trigger and a signal will be sent to the Alarm Receiving Centre via your telephone line informing them of the activation.

With a Key holder response system the Alarm Receiving Centre will then contact the premises and any nominated key holders to inform them that the alarm has been activated, the key holders will then attend the premises. With a Police response system the Alarm Receiving Centre will contact the premises,
any nominated key holders and the Police, with the Police and the key holders attending the premises.

Monitored systems give the added peace of mind that your home or business is connected to the (ARC) Alarm Receiving Centre and is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once installed, You can relax knowing your property is secure. We can install and maintain Grade 2 Monitored alarm systems at very competitive rates. All installations are subject to an initial free of charge security risk assessment being carried on your premises or property. The findings of the risk assessment will determine the type and level of system we would recommend to provide the best level of protection available

All of our monitored systems are connected to our designated (ARC) Alarm Receiving Centre by a piece of hardware called a Dualcom GPRS. A Dualcom GPRS unit is a dual path form of monitoring and uses the Vodafone network. Just like Redcare GSM the signals are sent via an analogue landline and also by the Vodafone network so if one pathway is cut the other continues to monitor the premises. The difference with the GPRS is that it is high speed technology which means it can send the data at a faster speed and it can also be converted to an IP (Internet) based secondary path using a LAN (Local Area Network) card if you wanted to do this in the future. If you decide to have Dualcom GPRS installed, on our initial visit we will check the strength of the Vodafone coverage in your area to ensure that the monitoring works at it's best for you and your business. These days the majority of insurance companies stipulate that an alarm should be monitored by dual path signalling such as Redcare GSM or Dualcom GPRS to ensure maximum protection of your home or business premises and the valuables or stock that you hold inside. Remote Monitoring - Auto Diallers

A simpler form of monitoring can be achieved by installing a device onto your alarm system, called a speech Dialler, A speech dialler enables communication of alarm information to a standard telephoneor mobile telephone, with or without ARC monitoring. Upon an alarm activation, the speech dialler will call up to four contacts or key holders and inform them of the activation by way of a combination of recorded voice messages or standard text messages. The device can be connected directly to an existing standard telephone line, Broadband line or fax line and is compatible with all makes and models of control panels. An audio listening facility is also possible with this type dialler, During an activation alert you can enable the internal microphones to listen in to your property. This is capable of monitoring four inputs which can be connected to virtually anything you want monitored, such as ALARM, FIRE, PA, CCTV, MAINS FAIL.
